Ingredients
- 500 g of Molino Pasini Dolci e Frolle
- flour 250 g of soft butter
- 250 g of granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract or the seeds of a bean
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 250 g of fresh whole milk
- 3 egg whites
- 50 g of granulated sugar for the egg whites
- icing sugar
- a pinch of salt
How to prepare
Work the soft butter with the sugar until you get a light and creamy mixture. Add the vanilla extract and the egg yolks and mix well. Sift the flour with the baking powder and add it in three stages, alternating it with the milk. Whip the egg whites with the sugar and salt until stiff and incorporate very delicately into the previous mixture with the help of a spatula.
Heat a waffle iron and brush it with a little melted butter. Pour about 2 generous spoonfuls of batter into the center of each plate and cook until the waffles are golden.
The right amount of dough to pour onto the plate depends on the size of the plate itself, so it may be necessary to make some attempts before finding the ideal dose.
Serve with strawberries, fresh fruit or ice cream.
